NFL Hits: Harrison lays wood (Video)

Over the weekend there were some violent hits, most of which were dirty, leaving many helpless offensive players down on the field for extensive periods of time.

There was Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson who got blew up by Falcons corner Dunta Robinson…

Steelers linebacker James Harrison, who Miami will face next week, delivered two massive helmet-leading blows to the Browns Josh Cribbs and Mohamed Massaquoi. He will absolutely be fined.

But is that enough? The second tackle was more of a decapitation and if the league happens to get serious and suspend Harrison for the Dolphins game, it’s okay by me. Check out the vicious shots below…

Then there’s the obvious dirty hit by Patriots safety and Hurricane alum Brandon Meriweather, who used his helmet to spear Ravens tight end Todd Heap square in the head…
